John, our father (passed away 1969)

His death still feels as if it happend yesterday. There is no one I look up to more than him. My only consolation is that he is at peace now for life gave him little of that.

Uncle Allan owned a farm in Roseburg where I had the opportunity to visit for a summer or two. I loved it there and hated going back to the big city. Although my family was missed terribly.
